Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering organized the largest AppFest for Windows 8, which held on November 9-10, 2012 at LBRCE, Mylavaram and is open to the global developer community.
This is 24-hour long coding event is a nonstop software jam where the developers will design, build, test and submit Apps. Two Microsoft's on site staffs have given assistance to the developers participated in the event while preparing their apps for eventual submission to the Windows Store. More than 300 developers gathered at LBRCE, Mylavaram, on 09 November to write applications for Windows 8.
The 350 students, 20 faculty members of LAKIREDDY BALI REDDY COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING and 50 students from other college participated in this event and they uploaded 210 apps to Windows store.
