MICRO WAVE AND OPTICAL COMMUNICATIONS LABORATORY

This lab is well equipped with all the microwave devices. This lab deals with the measurements of the microwave signals at micro wave frequency range(X-band). It involves measurement of frequency, wave length, VSWR, Impedance of microwave signals and scattering parameters of various micro wave devices like Circulator, Directional Coupler, and Magic Tee. In this lab experiments based on optical fibers are also performed. It involves measurement of Numerical aperture, losses of optical cable and characteristics of LED, LASER using Optical Transmitter and Receiver Kits.

    • Measurement of losses for Analog Optical link.
