Objectives and Goals of the Innovation Cell

Objectives of the Innovation Cell:

  To promote innovation, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset among students.
  To create awareness about innovation, design thinking, and emerging technologies.
  To encourage students to identify real-world problems and develop innovative solutions.
  To provide a platform for students to explore new ideas and convert them into practical applications.
  To motivate students to develop prototypes, innovative products, and technology-based solutions.
  To encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork among students.
  To create awareness about Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), patents, copyrights, and technology transfer.
  To promote research, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  To encourage students to participate in innovation competitions, hackathons, and technical events.
  To establish connections with industries, startups, entrepreneurs, and innovation organizations.
  To nurture entrepreneurial skills and motivate students towards startup development.
  To provide opportunities for mentoring and guidance from faculty members and industry experts.

Goals:

  Conduct awareness programs on innovation, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies.
  Organize workshops and seminars on Design Thinking, Problem Identification, and Idea Generation.
  Conduct brainstorming sessions and innovative idea presentation activities.
  Encourage students to develop working models, prototypes, and proof-of-concept projects.
  Organize intra-college innovation challenges, hackathons, and project exhibitions.
  Motivate students to participate in Smart India Hackathon (SIH), AICTE initiatives, and other innovation competitions.
  Identify promising student ideas and support their development into practical solutions.
  Encourage students to undertake industry-oriented and socially relevant projects.
  Promote startup culture and entrepreneurial activities among students.
