Objectives and Goals of the Club

Objectives of the Club:

  To increase awareness among the students about machine learning applications.
  Educate members on what exactly is ML and its possibilities.
  Developing the interests of members in ML.
  To make use of publicly available data sets and libraries in order to demonstrate the applications.
  To familiarize the students with some basic learning algorithms and techniques and their applications.
  To encourage collaborative learning.
  To provide a platform for discussions of current events in ML.
  Practical and hands-on experience.
  Inter-college participation.

Goals:

  Awareness on Machine Learning and Applications
  Discussions on ML case studies (by lecturers or any resource persons).
  Statistical concepts related to ML.
  Practical and hands-on coding in ML.
  Debugging real-world challenges.
  Kaggle challenges
  Conducting Workshops and Intra College Hackathons.

Outcomes:

  Understanding the fundamental concepts of Machine Learning
  Deploy libraries and explore tools
  Developing Solutions to the real-world problems using Machine Learning algorithms.
