About the Department:

   The Department of Freshmen Engineering was established right from the inception of the college. The Department offers the basic and applied courses in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Applied Mathematics to the under graduate and the post graduate students of engineering/technology and of the business administration. The Department is committed in laying strong fundamentals in the minds of young students to take up advanced courses in the subject of their specialization.
   The Department has well qualified and competent faculty to impart sound technical knowledge in all aspects. Further, the faculty members of the department are fully engaged in various research activities in the fields of in their specialization. The faculty updates themselves by attending conferences/workshops/symposium and are mostly committed in communicating their research findings in the journals of repute. Faculty has so far published around 120 research papers in peer review journals of national and international importance.
