About eyantra Lab


   The Centre for Robotics Studies (CRS) is designed to foster inter disciplinary collaborations research among various branches in order to create and innovative sustainable technological solutions, capable of addressing many societal and environmental issues. The director Dr. E. V. Prasad took special interest to see that a robotics center is set up in the college to aggrandize robotics importance in engineering studies. His tireless efforts and continuous support to the students has led to the establishment of CRS, which is the first student operated research laboratory in the college.

Inauguration Details:

***Dept. of EEE conducted online Inauguration of e-yantra Lab on 01-03-2016 at LBRCE.

   A robotics lab in association with IIT-Bombay has been inaugurated in Lakireddy Bali Redy College of Engineering, which is one of the few elite colleges in Andhra Pradesh to install this laboratory. The e-Yantra robotics lab, formerly Center for Robotics Studies, is a product of the e-Yantra Lab Setup initiative by IIT-Bombay, aims at equipping students with the necessary skills needed for a robotics engineer and make them acquainted with the recent advancements in the robotics industry.
   The laboratory inauguration was carried by opening the signage board by the Director Dr. E. V Prasad in the presence of principal Dr. N.R.M.Reddy and Dr. M Umavani, HOD-EEE Dept., and other dignitaries. The entire inauguration was hosted online through which dignitaries from IIT-Bombay Professor Kavi Arya, Professor Saraswathi Krithivasan and Professor Krishna Lala attended the inauguration.
